Sugery 4/7
Sorry I haven't posted an update on Samantha's surgery that took place last Wednesday, I have just been really busy. Samantha made it through the surgery - she is in a lot of pain and is not eating very well, but she is okay. We have to wait 12 weeks before she can have a catherization done to see if the surgery worked or not and then we wait...wait for her colleterals to grow so they can do the third part (open heart surgery) or as they told us, if they don't grow then there is nothing left to be done. Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers, text messages and messages, Bobby and I really appreciate all of the support and care for Samantha.

I posted on your wall but want to share with you that we are all behind you and beside you and send love and strength to you and your family. This must be so difficult for you and it just takes my breath away to see such a little girl (and her family) suffer so. I went through a similar situation with my daughter when she was 35 and was terminally ill. I understand your pain. Love, Diana
ReplyDeleteBoth she and your whole family are, as always, in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteI have been wondering about you guys! I'm so glad the surgery went well. And now more waiting...just what you wanted, right? :) We will say prayers that the cath in 12 weeks reveals only good things! Hang in there, Mama!
